You could also try to isolate the problem by switching your default printer to something else. If you've made any driver changes lately, I'd suspect that. It may just be that you lost connectivity to your printer. Regarding your print preview question, I'd suspect its something printer or video related. Also, I still don't have a complete understanding of what you are doing to trigger it. I can't answer that question (since I'm not a Word developer). The question remains as to whether that dialog display is a bug. You probably can't handle the Word dialog on your own, so if it is a problem, the workaround would be to ensure your code never gets into the state that would trigger the dialog. If an exception is then thrown, will that work for you? IOW your users will likely dismiss the first dialog so execution can continue and your handler will be hit. I just meant that you should see what happens when you dismiss the dialog by hand.
